How we use cookies
A visit to a page on our website may generate the following types of cookie:
Security cookies
JetWaya first-party cookies essential for you to log into your account securely if you have one.
Functionality cookies
JetWaya first-party cookies — we use our own cookies to store information about your last search and interactions with the site. If you are on our marketing list we will send you an email with your saved search. We use these to provide you with a better experience based on your preferences. You can disable these in your browser, but it will mean you won't benefit from all of our website features.
YouTube — we use video as part of our customer experience, and use YouTube cookies to remember when you pause a video so you can come back to it.
Mention Me — we run a refer-a-friend scheme so you can introduce us to your friends and family. Mention Me cookies remember who you are so we can reward you.
Performance cookies
JetWaya first-party cookies collect anonymous information on how people use our website. They help us test out different ideas to see which work best.
Advertising & marketing cookies
Amazon, Criteo and Sojern — JetWaya uses advertising cookies set by other companies whose services we use. None of these cookies will ever store or use personally identifiable information about a customer. You can disable third-party cookies specifically in your browser settings.
Google products (Google Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and Optimize) — none of these cookies will ever store or use personally identifiable information about a user. Google mainly uses cookies to report on user behaviour and interactions; advertising cookies are also used to enable features such as "remarketing" and to provide a more tailored experience. You can opt out of personalised ads within Google Ad Settings.
Facebook — Facebook sets its own cookies for advertising, insights and measurement. Your ad preferences are based on information you've shared with Facebook, pages you like or engage with, ads you click on, apps and websites you use, and information from data providers. You can change all ad preferences within Facebook settings.
Microsoft — may use cookies and web beacons from third-party service providers as well as setting first-party cookies for advertising and measurement. You can opt out and change your settings by visiting Microsoft's opt-out page.
How to control and delete cookies
To delete any cookies stored in your browser, go to the help and support area of your internet browser for instructions. Information on deleting or controlling cookies is also available at www.allaboutcookies.org.

Other similar technologies
Tracking pixels — a pixel is a small image with a unique identifier, placed invisibly in emails. We do not classify these as cookies because they do not store any information. We embed pixels in some of the emails we send in order to gather useful information such as whether our emails have been opened, when they were opened and the devices used. This allows us to determine the relevancy and usefulness of our communications. If you do not wish to be tracked in this way, you can disable images from being displayed within HTML emails in your email program or web browser settings.
Email link tracking — we track clicks on hyperlinks in the emails we send to determine interest in our products and topics, and the effectiveness of our communications. When a hyperlink in the email is clicked, the request is passed through a separate server before arriving at the destination web page. Hyperlinks from our emails also enable our website to recognise you and provide a personalised experience, using cookies. We track website activity from the email, such as whether you made a booking, to understand and improve the relevancy of our communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, do not click on hyperlinks in the email.
